What the planner does
The planner combines rectangular slabs, patios, post-hole groups, and optional gravel bases in one locally saved project. A slab footprint can be reused for gravel so the same length and width do not need to be entered twice. Concrete can be compared across 40, 60, and 80 pound bag assumptions and bulk cubic yards.
The goal is a shorter path from field measurements to a purchase list: measure once, review exact quantity, apply visible allowances, compare formats, and print or share a combined summary.
Calculation methodology
The calculation core uses explicit U.S. customary unit conversions and documented geometric formulas. It keeps mathematical volume separate from the waste- or overage-adjusted order quantity. Bag counts round up because partial bags are not treated as purchasable units; unrounded quantities remain available for explanation.
Product yield, waste, gravel compaction, density, overage, and purchase rounding are visible assumptions rather than hidden constants. Source and review dates appear with calculator guidance where factual yield or formula evidence is used. The tested calculation core is kept independent from the interface, browser storage, and network services.
Editorial standard
Every indexed calculator route is written for a distinct planning task and includes original guidance, a formula, a worked example, assumptions, limitations, sources, and a material-estimate disclaimer. We do not create query-swapped doorway pages or copy manufacturer, competitor, or supplier prose and tables.
Editorial and methodology reviews look for formula accuracy, consistent units, clear rounding, current source dates, accessible language, and strict separation from structural or code advice. Corrections should update both the visible explanation and the corresponding tests when behavior changes.
Advertising independence
Advertising does not determine calculator results, assumptions, comparisons, source selection, or editorial conclusions. Ads are kept outside calculator inputs, results, purchase lists, and primary task actions. Product success is measured by useful planning actions—not ad clicks.
Traffic, cost-per-click, and revenue figures used in internal planning are estimates until first-party measurements replace them. No advertisement or affiliate relationship is presented as professional or purchasing advice.

Concrete Cal cannot choose structural dimensions, materials, reinforcement, or code requirements for an individual project. Those questions belong with qualified local professionals and authorities.
